Protecting our members: Why we’re signing off Facebook and Instagram

Due to increasing cases of fraud and scams worldwide, we are suspending our Facebook and Instagram accounts by the end of the February. This decision reflects our commitment to proactively addressing risks before they can cause harm.

We encourage you to follow us on LinkedIn where we will continue to share valuable content for members, partners, and the communities we serve through our official page.

Your security and trust come first.

If you see any pages or messages on Facebook or Instagram claiming to represent OAS FCU, do not engage with them or share your personal information.

Always pause and ask: “Is this really from whom it claims to be? Why are they asking for my information now? Could I verify this another way?”

Keep your login credentials safe, check for impersonation attempts, and be especially cautious with any unsolicited direct messages on social media.

Contact OAS FCU directly at 202-458-3834 if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your understanding and continued loyalty and trust.
