Official Giveaway Rules: Financial Literacy & Services Survey 

1. Purpose 

This giveaway is designed to encourage participation in a survey that gathers insights into financial literacy and financial service usage among students. The data collected will help OAS FCU better understand and serve the needs of this demographic. 

2. Eligibility 

To enter the giveaway, participants must: 

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of the survey. 

• Be currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school in the United States. 

• Provide a valid “.edu” email address as proof of enrollment and as their unique giveaway identifier. 

• Complete the full survey and submit their email address at the end on or before 23:59 EST on October 26, 2025.Only one entry per person is allowed. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. 

3. How to Enter 

Eligible participants will be automatically entered into the giveaway upon: 

• Completing the survey in full. 

• Submitting a valid “.edu” email address through the survey form. 

4. Prizes 

Three winners will be selected at random to receive the following prizes: 

• First Prize: $250 (payable by cashier’s check) 

• Second Prize: $100 (payable by cashier’s check) 

• Third Prize: $50 (payable by cashier’s check)Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions will be made. 

5. Winner Selection and Notification 

Winners will be selected through a random drawing conducted by OAS FCU that will take place during the week of October 31, 2025. Each eligible email address will be assigned a number, and winners will be drawn using a random number generator. Winners will be notified via their registered “.edu” email address within 10 business days of the drawing. Winners must respond within 7 days of notification to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond, an alternate winner may be selected. 

6. Data Use and Privacy 

Survey responses will be used solely for research and analysis to improve financial services for student populations. The only identifying information collected is the participant’s “.edu” email address, which will be used exclusively for giveaway administration. Email addresses will not be linked to individual survey responses for any analytical purpose. All analysis will be conducted on anonymized or aggregated data. No personal data will be shared with third parties. Only the designated analyst will access the raw survey data, and all insights will be reported in aggregate form. 

7. Limitation of Liability 

OAS FCU is not responsible for: 

• Late, incomplete, or inaccurate entries 

• Electronic transmission errors including omissions, interruptions, delays, theft, destruction, unauthorized access, or alterationsOAS FCU reserves the right to cancel or modify the giveaway if fraud or technical issues compromise its fairness or integrity. By participating, entrants release OAS FCU from any liability related to participation, prize acceptance, or use of survey data in accordance with these rules. 

8. General Conditions 

Prize winners may be responsible for reporting winnings to the IRS or other tax authorities based on their fiscal responsibility rules; please consult a tax professional for information. 

By entering the giveaway, participants agree to these Official Rules. OAS FCU reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if necessary. All decisions by OAS FCU regarding the giveaway are final.
